I know I'm late to the party but it's a shame that Toys R Us is leaving for good. I'm aware that minor businesses do come and go, but honestly I think most of us were not expecting this from such a huge company.  Although, admittedly I did took it for granted considering their products were expensive to buy. But on the contrary, they had a huge collection of toys where you normally wouldn't find at a regular retail store. I live in Australia, so I'm hoping that one toys r us joint is still there, hence I can purchase a toy and say my farewells. It's really sad news and it's not something we were expecting or hoping for. I haven't felt this upset since Holden's closure - an Australian car manufacturing company representing us as a nation. The reason for it being too expensive to make here unlike in certain other countries *cough*slave-labor*cough*.
In fact, due to the increasing high-unemployment rate, toys r us downfall will impact it significantly which is scary.
Regardless, there's not much we can do... It really sucks. I sincerely apologise, especially to those who worked for the company.
Money, money, money.

Thanks a lot for your wonderful wide range selection of exciting colourful toys and merch. Now that I think about it, I wish I had the chance to work there.

Rest in Piece Toys R Us

I'll just leave this here:

(note: it's not a prediction, I know lol)
